And for something completely different: I love the look of "retro" fabrics and by this I mean fabrics and colors of the 1950's. I have been making pillows all summer long for my summer porch using "retro" fabrics and quilt blocks. I came across this pattern for making quilted mitt pot holders - it caught my attention because of the wonderful fabrics they used. Of course any fabric scheme can be used and the pattern is easy enough for beginners. A great way to personalize a kitchen.
